For the Christian Dior Couture Cruise Collection, I was hired to photograph Chinese celebrity, Hanna Chan, by Getty Images & Dior. I followed Hanna from start to finish which was something I have always wanted to do with a personality. I met her at a luxurious Parisian hotel before we made the trek out to Chantilly. As soon as we arrived at the show an all-out electrical storm commenced. However tragic that the entire collection got soaking wet, the event was beautifully done. Members of Escaramuza, an all-female rodeo—combining strength with beauty was the main inspiration for Designer Maria Grazia Chiuri which lead her to open the show with their performance. It was a pleasure to shadow Hanna and I thank her for letting me follow her around all night.
I am often commissioned by Chanel for their runway shows. Visit Chanel News to see my ongoing published work from their extraordinary shows. Pictured above is a screen shot of Chanel’s official site home page where my image was featured from the finale of the Chanel Cruise 18/19 runway show in Paris.
Interested in what happened at the first Fashion Week held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia? Go to NOWFASHION to read about the event and see my images. I was the only photographer on the runway, and for me, it was one of those once-in-a-lifetime kind of honors.
I would like to introduce my the longtime-coming passion project in partnership with my Mom, After White.
Our goal is to get the work of talented photographers from around the world up onto the wall to be enjoyed. We aim to connect with art lovers and collectors alike because we know that the energy of any space is influenced by imagery and one’s personal style can shine with the right piece.
This idea started because I’ve had the opportunity to meet and work with photographers that should be known because of how they see the world. These perspectives are developed and nurtured over years by true photographers and now more than ever these artists need a platform where they can grow their vision and ripple out.
After White has been featured on Paddle8 and can be found hanging on the walls of the Haptor Barret design showroom in downtown Los Angeles. With many opportunities along the horizon, we trust that our extremely high standards in printing and image selection will continue to gain the trust and respect of our growing community.
I invite you to explore my personal work and the work of my admired colleagues.
Like many, I grew up watching the Victoria’s Secret Angels walk down the runway– each model and outfit outdoing the last. Having the opportunity to be one of only about 10 photographers at the end of the runway during this legendary show was an extraordinary experience. Held at the Grand Palais in the heart of Paris, there was a lot of energy in the room, including performances by Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, and Bruno Mars, not to mention the power, confidence, and fun that the models and Victoria’s Secret lingerie create.
One of my favorite moments was an exchange between Bella Hadid and The Weeknd as they found themselves crossing paths in front of the world after breaking up a week earlier. Awkward!
The Victoria’s Secret show lead me to be featured in an article promoting a selection of my fine art images with After White Gallery.
I had the honor to spend two days photographing the Tibetan Spiritual Leader, the 14th Dalai Lama in Strasbourg, France. He spoke about the Buddhist teaching and meditated with us. The Dalai Lama is funny, often cracking jokes and laughing. I cherish the opportunity to have photographed such an extraordinary human being.
I was recently hired by Getty Images and the LDF to photograph the 3rd annual Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Gala in St. Tropez. The who’s who of Hollywood was in attendance along with top models and musical guests, The Weekend & Lana Del Rey. I was honored to be there and witness such a wonderful evening through my camera.
I recently photographed world-renowned French designer, Philippe Starck for a launch of a new product designed by Starck for Wistiki in Paris, France.
Amazing things happen during thunderstorms! I had the pleasure to once again team up with Carton Magazine to shoot a beauty story featuring Korean model Moon Kyu Lee for Shu Uemura x Kathleen Kye.
